Xifaxan (HE)

Hepatic Encephalopathy (HE) is often unidentified in patients. So much so that they go years before being accurately diagnosed. To boot, HE is cyclical—with its recurrence rate and deterioration of cognitive function being reduced after each and every episode.

After careful assessment, lack of standardized protocols in the hospital setting and low awareness of the IA1 Guidelines were the major offenders. So, our mission was set—and we lead the charge—with the rallying cry of: “Align with the guidelines”.

Hopefully patients are, and continue to be, better for it.
